What is a Claude app, and why would I use one?
A Claude app (or AI-powered app) is a small, purpose-built tool that runs inside Claude. With ~2 clicks you'll be able ot use your app. Because the app can talk to Claude directly, it can do things a normal web app can't: read your messy notes, write in your voice, summarize, plan, and adapt to you.
How do I buy and access an app?
Checkout takes about a minute. After payment, you'll get an email with your app link or file with full instructions on how to use it.
Do I need a paid Claude subscription?
No. A free Claude account is enough to open and use these apps. If an app does a lot of AI-powered work in one sitting, a free account may hit its usage limit sooner and you'll be asked to wait a bit before continuing. A Pro or Max plan simply gives you more room.
How does the app use my Claude credits?
Any AI-powered step in the app runs on your Claude account and counts toward your usage limits, the same way a normal chat with Claude does. Nothing is billed to you separately, and there's no metered charge from PUA on top of the purchase price. Simple actions like typing, sorting, or saving use nothing at all; only the steps that actually ask Claude to think will draw on your usage.
What happens to my data?
Your data stays in your Claude account, tied to your app and your login. I don't have a server collecting your entries, and I can't see what you put into the app, there's no admin dashboard on my end showing your content. If you use an app that's explicitly built for sharing with a team, only the people you share it with can see that shared data.
